Alexey Nechaev, the leader of the New People party, launched the federal project for the older generation "Living in a new Way", which will be implemented in 50 regions of Russia: from Khabarovsk to Kaliningrad. This was announced on March 20 by the party's press service.

"People of silver age can live interesting, bright lives. This is a simple idea that needs to be implemented," Nechaev said at the opening of the project.

The project is aimed at developing and supporting an active lifestyle for people of silver age. Within its framework, participants will be able to gain entrepreneurial skills and start their own business, master the work with artificial intelligence (AI) and neural networks, as well as take part in sports events.

Nechaev noted that the party holds dances and various master classes, organizes exhibitions where the older generation shows their products, and also unites them with young people who teach how to use social networks and protect themselves from fraudsters. According to him, this is a bright place in which the future of the country is being built.

The launch of the project was accompanied by a festival, where the party leader talked with the participants and visited an exhibition of their entrepreneurial initiatives. Their works were presented: Tatiana Kolesova with baskets made of jute, Irina Belinskaya with edible bouquets of marshmallows and Marina Bogun with decorations made of natural stones, meteorites and fossils.

The press service clarified that prior to this, the party had launched the Neurovolonters project to protect against cyber fraudsters, and also advocates for the indexation of payments to working pensioners and the automatic extension of benefits. The project "Living in a new way" became a continuation of this work.

Yaroslav Nilov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, announced on January 10 that state disability and social pensions would be indexed from April 1, taking into account the increase in the living wage for pensioners. The growth index of the living wage for disability pensioners in 2026 was 6.8%.
