In St. Petersburg, they plan to increase the treatment of all wastewater in the city to 100% by 2030. This was stated by the head of the city, Alexander Beglov, recalling that Earth Day is celebrated on March 20.

The Volkhonka complex is already operating in the city, which processes up to 600 thousand tons of waste annually. The Ostrovsky complex will be put into operation in the near future, and the construction of the Novoselki complex has also begun.
