The incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza decreased by 18.5% in Primorye

Over the past week, a decrease in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) by 18.5% was registered in Primorsky Krai. Isolated cases of influenza have been identified.

According to the PrimaMedia news agency, a decrease in morbidity is recorded in all age groups. The incidence structure is dominated by viruses of non-influenza etiology. About 50.3% of cases are associated with rhinoviruses.

One school and one kindergarten are completely closed for quarantine. The educational process in 18 kindergartens and four schools has been partially suspended.

In Russia, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza decreased by 5% over the past week. A total of 639 thousand cases of the disease were registered.
