Since the opening of the regular ZIL — Pechatniki river route in the capital, passengers have made over 1 million trips on electric vessels, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"In September 2023, we opened a second regular river route, ZIL — Pechatniki, which we developed based on requests from Muscovites. Before the launch, a lot of work was done, taking into account the passenger traffic and population density of the districts. Berths of increased diameter were installed in places with high traffic. The electric vessels of the second route help to get to residential and office areas faster, as well as the sights of the city. There are nine berths operating here today," the deputy mayor noted.

According to him, with the launch of the route, about 700 thousand residents of the south and south-east of the capital have received new transport opportunities. Citizens began to save 30-40 minutes on the way compared to land-based urban transport, Liksutov emphasized.

There are seven office centers along the route, as well as the Island of Dreams amusement park, Kolomenskaya and Nagatinskaya embankments and other popular places.

Today, three regular river routes operate in the capital: Kievsky — Fili Park, ZIL — Pechatniki and Novospassky — ZIL. Since the resumption of regular river traffic in 2023, passengers have made over 3.2 million trips on electric vessels. In 2026, route No. 4 "Luzhniki — Kievsky" will be launched in the capital.
