Galina Mshanskaya was born on February 20, 1935 in Leningrad. Her mother, Olga Mshanskaya, was a famous opera singer and teacher. Since childhood, she has been in a creative environment, but decided not to follow in her mother's footsteps, retaining her interest in art. After graduating from high school, she chose a profession related to the cultural sphere.
Working in television and contributing to culture
Mshanskaya worked for many years on Soviet television as a music editor. She became one of the initiators of the screening of film adaptations of famous operas and operettas on television in the 1970s and 1980s.
