Mitroshina's ex-lawyer threatened the blogger after refusing to cooperate
Lawyer Alisa Volkhova and lawyer Olga Goltseva, accused of stealing money from blogger Alexandra Mitroshina, threatened her with tax problems for refusing to cooperate and demanded money. This is stated in the case file, which was reviewed by Izvestia on March 20.
According to the document, Mitroshina and her husband Timur Koshkarov met with lawyers and announced cooperation with new lawyers, and they intend to check Goltsova and Volkhova's activities.
"Upon hearing this, Goltseva and Volkhova began to come into conflict with Koshkarov and raise their tone. This was the end of the meeting. Further, Goltseva and Volkhova began to constantly call me via videoconference and report any problems that they needed to turn on now, otherwise everything would be very bad. Getting involved in the problem meant transferring some amount of money to resolve the issue," the blogger's interrogation materials say.
So, the lawyer, using a relationship of trust, organized a scheme to steal money from Mitroshina. She and her accomplices systematically misled the blogger, convincing him of the need to transfer large sums to solve non-existent problems.
The materials cite a case when Volkhova informed Mitroshina about the initiation of a new criminal case on the fact of money laundering and asked for payment to settle it in court. At the same time, the blogger herself later paid the arrears, and the lawyer presented the completed case as her achievement.
The blogger was detained on March 7, 2025 at Sochi airport, where she arrived from Dubai. She was charged with money laundering. Since March 2022, Mitroshina has lived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and returned to Russia for the first time in three years. According to investigators, having debts to the tax service, in 2021 she purchased an elite apartment on Bolshaya Dmitrovka in the center of Moscow.
On December 4 last year, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow granted the petition of the state prosecution and extended the blogger's house arrest for six months. The arrest was extended until May 1, 2026. Mitroshina partially pleaded guilty to laundering 127 million rubles.
