An agent from Kiev wanted to blow up the car of an official of the DPR administration, he was detained, the FSB Central Control Center reported.

"The illegal activities of a Russian citizen, born in 1973, who was recruited by the special services of Ukraine to commit a terrorist act against representatives of regional authorities, have been suppressed," the report says.

According to the agency, the detainee contacted representatives of the Ukrainian special services via the Internet and received a task from them to blow up the car of one of the officials of the DPR administration. During the searches, an explosive device based on rdx with damaging elements, an electric detonator and a remote control were found in his possession.
