The Russian Ministry of Health is working on a bill to include professional oral hygiene for children in the compulsory medical Insurance. This became known from the response of Deputy Minister of Health Evgenia Kotova to a request from State Duma deputies from the New People faction.

"Currently, the issues outlined in the appeal are being worked out jointly with the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund and the main freelance specialists of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. Information on the results of the review will be provided additionally in accordance with the established procedure," TASS quoted the document as saying.
