In Russia, measures are being discussed to support the construction of rental housing, which will be rented at reduced prices, such initiatives are being considered by the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services. This was announced on March 20 by Sergey Kolunov, deputy chairman of the relevant committee, United Russia party.

The parliamentarians discussed the relevant measures with the Ministry of Construction, the Public Council under the Ministry and the professional community. The first proposal suggests a concession for such houses.

"A private concessionaire is building a house in which the state is a participant," Kolunov clarified.
