The Moscow Planetarium announced the date and exact time of the vernal equinox.

The vernal equinox (a time of the same length of day and night) will occur on Friday evening, March 20. The astronomical spring will also begin in the Northern Hemisphere of our planet, the Moscow Planetarium said.

"The agency's interlocutor also indicated the exact time of the equinox.: it will happen at 17:46 Moscow time," a representative of the planetarium told RIA Novosti.
