The first compensation payments to the affected farmers have already begun in the Novosibirsk Region, and the region has also worked out additional support measures. This statement was made on March 19 by the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Sergey Dankvert, in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
"The first compensation payments have already begun. There is a basic formula that is linked to live weight. I understand those who say that this does not take into account the breeding value and years of work. Therefore, today the subject has worked out additional support measures," Dankvert is quoted as saying in the publication.
