A Krasnodar man is awaiting trial for the deaths of two women in an accident in the Lipetsk region.

In the Lipetsk region, the investigation of a criminal case against a motorist from the Krasnodar Territory, who caused an accident with two dead and seriously injured, has been completed. This is reported by the joint press service of the judicial system of the region.

The accident occurred on December 29, 2025, on the 7th km of the A-133 highway "Access road from the M-4 Don highway to the city of Lipetsk." The investigation believes that the 54-year-old Hyundai Solaris driver was driving at high speed and lost control on a wet highway. The car flew into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Daewoo Matiz.

The 42-year-old Daewoo driver died on the spot from her injuries. The 46-year-old wife of the Hyundai driver, who was in the front passenger seat, also suffered fatal injuries.

According to GOROD48, the Hyundai driver and his 16-year-old son were hospitalized. The boy was taken to the regional hospital in critical condition with internal injuries, a closed craniocerebral injury, and a massive retroperitoneal hematoma. Doctors assembled the victim's pelvic bones literally piece by piece.

Currently, the investigation of the criminal case under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of traffic rules that negligently caused the death of two persons" has been completed. The materials were submitted to the Zadonsky District Court of the Lipetsk region for consideration on the merits.
