Denmark was preparing for possible attacks on the airstrips in Nuuk and Kangerlussuaq when Danish soldiers were urgently dispatched to Greenland in January.

According to the TV channel, the soldiers brought explosives to Greenland to be ready to prevent a possible landing of American troops and disable the landing strips, and bags of blood so that the wounded could receive medical attention.
