Trump urged Netanyahu not to strike Iran's energy facilities

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will refrain from attacking Iran's oil and gas fields. This was announced on March 19 by US President Donald Trump to reporters at the White House.

"Yes, I spoke with him (Netanyahu – Ed.). I told him, "Don't do this." And he won't do it," he told reporters.

Trump stressed that the United States and Israel maintain close coordination of their actions, despite the preservation of the political independence of each side.

He noted that Iran does not know about the non-involvement of the United States and Qatar, allegedly in connection with which it is attacking part of the Qatari liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant.
