Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky expects to hold elections in order to restore his legitimate status. He wrote about this on March 19 in his Telegram channel.
According to him, against the background of external support and internal mobilization, the Ukrainian leadership is taking steps to maintain its political positions.
"$90 billion has been approved for him, domestic political mobilization is gaining momentum, <...> he seriously expects to hold elections in the country and regain his legitimate status," Medvedev said.
