The European Union (EU) did not decide at the summit on the allocation of a loan of €90 billion to Ukraine. This follows from a press release published on March 19 on the website of the European Council.

"Following its decision of December 2025 to provide Ukraine with a €90 billion support loan for 2026 and 2027, the European Council welcomes the acceptance of this loan by the co—sponsors and hopes for the first payment to Ukraine by early April," the document says.

At the same time, there is no information in the press release about new decisions on this issue.
