Zeekr car sales have increased dramatically in Russia

According to the results of the first two months of 2026, 1,050 cars of the Chinese brand Zeekr were registered in Russia. This is 127% more than in January-February of last year (464 units), Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, noted in his Telegram channel on March 19.

According to the expert, the reason for the intense interest of Russians in the brand is the appearance of a new large crossover Zeekr 9X. It accounted for 86% of sales (906 units). At the same time, the Zeekr 001 model, which was a bestseller in the segment of electric vehicles, as well as other cars of the brand, continue to lose ground.

The peak of Zeekr car sales in the Russian market, where the brand is not officially represented, occurred in 2024 (7,623 units). Last year, sales decreased by half (3,796 units).

The Zeekr 9X is the brand's first hybrid model, which entered the Chinese market at the end of last year. This is a full-size all-wheel drive crossover, the power plant of which, depending on the modification, develops 898 hp or 1401 hp. In the latter case, the 5.2-meter hybrid has a bundle of a two-liter internal combustion engine and three electric motors, which allows you to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km / h in 3.1 seconds. Currently, several hundred ads for the sale of 9X are posted on classifieds in the Russian Federation, with prices ranging from 8 million to 18.7 million rubles.

It was reported yesterday that 1,566 new electric vehicles were sold in Russia in the first two months of 2026, which is 23% more than in January-February last year. The domestic brand Evolute is the leader among the brands in terms of sales.
