The United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, France and Japan have proposed a moratorium on attacks on energy facilities in the Middle East. This was stated on March 19 in a statement by the authorities of the states.

On March 8, the United States announced that it had no plans to strike targets in Iran's fuel and gas industry. CNN reported on March 8 that Israel had launched attacks on Iranian oil storage facilities as part of the next stage of the conflict in the Middle East.
