The proposals made by the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation on increasing the efficiency of the budget ruble will allow the state to provide housing to at least 500 orphans annually. This was stated on March 19 by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin during the Joint Venture's work report for the past year.
He specified that the volume of allocated benefits, in particular, for the IT sector is 2.2 trillion rubles. In turn, the head of the Accounting Chamber, Boris Kovalchuk, proposed to increase insurance premiums for the IT sector, which would bring another 100 billion rubles of revenue to the budget per year.
"The proposal of the Accounting Chamber gives us the opportunity to provide at least 500 orphans with housing annually. The resources that the budget can receive additionally if they give benefits to IT companies more thoughtfully," Volodin said.
The Speaker is confident that when discussing adjustments and adopting a new budget, deputies should decide together with the government, which will increase the efficiency and coherence of the authorities.
In October, Vladimir Koshelev, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services, said Russians who belong to the preferential category or are officially recognized as needing better housing conditions can receive a subsidy for housing purchase once in their lives. The amount of subsidies can reach more than 70% of the cost of an apartment. Privileged categories of citizens include young families under 35 years of age, large families, military personnel with a certain length of service and relatives of deceased servicemen, orphans, internally displaced persons and others.
