Arab countries have expressed strong dissatisfaction with the US government in connection with Israel's actions; the reason was the attacks on the Iranian South Pars gas field. This was reported on March 19 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

"Israeli strikes on facilities associated with the Iranian South Pars training ground, which is a continuation of the Qatar North training ground, is a dangerous and irresponsible step against the background of the current military escalation in the region," Majed al—Ansari, adviser to the Qatari Prime Minister, is quoted as saying.

According to the newspaper, the leaders of the Middle Eastern states were outraged not only by the attacks on a strategic facility, but also by the fact that Washington could not stop these attacks. It is noted that they actively promoted the idea of stopping attacks that could further destabilize the region.

On the night of March 19, US President Donald Trump said that the United States and Qatar were not involved in the Israeli attack on South Pars in Iran. Trump noted that Iran does not know about the non-involvement of the United States and Qatar, allegedly in connection with which it is attacking part of the Qatari liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant.

On March 18, the Israeli Air Force attacked the largest gas processing plant in the Islamic Republic. Iran's Tasnim news agency previously reported that several sections of the South Pars gas field had been hit. Several facilities were disabled, and a fire broke out on the spot.
