A court in Moscow has fined Google LLC for violating Russian legislation in the field of personal data. This was announced on March 19 by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

"On March 16, 2026, the justice of the Peace of judicial district No. 422 of the Tagansky district of Moscow found Google LLC guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 5 of Article 13.11 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that an administrative fine of 50 thousand rubles was imposed on the company.

On February 16, the Moscow Arbitration Court recovered about 160.3 billion rubles from Google Ireland Limited in favor of Google LLC. It was clarified that the decision was made at the request of the bankruptcy trustee Valery Talyarovsky. He challenged the termination of the old agreement on the resale of advertising space in 2009 and the conclusion of a new one in April 2018.
