The Iranian military attacked processing plants in Haifa and Rishon Lezion in Israel. This was announced on March 19 by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the text of the statement was published by the Iranian Tasnim news agency.

"Attacks were carried out on targets in the central and northern regions of Israel, including Ben Gurion, the main assembly and combat operations center, as well as combat support points and fuel tankers," the statement said.

It is noted that attacks were carried out on the bases in Haifa and on refineries in Haifa and Rishon Lezion. The Iranian military emphasizes that new types of attack drones and Khorramshahr ballistic missiles were used for the first time as part of Operation True Promise 4.

On the same day, the Iranian army said it had attacked the Israeli Ministry of National Security and the Tel Aviv office of Channel 13 in retaliation for the death of Iranian Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatib. According to this statement, the Israeli Ministry of National Security is the crisis management center, and Channel 13 is one of the most important commercial and news channels.

N12 TV channel reported on March 18 that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had attempted to assassinate Khatib. Later, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz confirmed that Khatib was killed in an Israeli strike on Tehran.
