In Moscow, doctors preserved the eyesight of schoolchildren after a chemical experiment

In Moscow, two 15-year-old teenagers suffered serious eye injuries while trying to reproduce a chemical experience from social media. This was announced on March 19 by the Moscow Department of Health.

The students decided to repeat the experiment they had seen on the Internet using household chemicals, but during the cooking process the mixture exploded.

The victims were urgently hospitalized in the Morozovskaya Children's Hospital with chemical burns to their eyes.

"Moscow doctors conducted a comprehensive treatment, as a result of which the eyesight of one of the boys was fully restored," the department said in a Telegram channel message.

The second victim managed to regain only 60% of his vision, as the burns he received were too deep and severe.
