The Iranian army said it attacked the Israeli Ministry of National Security and the Tel Aviv office of Channel 13 in retaliation for the death of Iranian Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatib. This was reported on March 19 by the Iranian Fars news agency.

"Since this morning, as revenge for the blood of the brave soldiers of the frigate Dena and the martyr Ismail Khatib, drones of the Iranian army have attacked the Ministry of National Security of the Zionist enemy in occupied Jerusalem, as well as Channel 13 located in Tel Aviv," reads a statement on the Fars Telegram channel.

According to this statement, the Israeli Ministry of National Security is the crisis management center, and Channel 13 is one of the most important commercial and news channels, which, according to the Islamic Republic, plays a key role in censoring news about the successes of Iran and the Resistance Front.

N12 TV channel reported on March 18 that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had attempted to assassinate Khatib. Later, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz confirmed that Khatib was killed in an Israeli strike on Tehran.

On March 17, it became known about the death of Larijani as a result of an IDF night attack. According to The New York Times (NYT), this news caused even more alarm among Iranians, in particular among officials. It was noted that some of them were shaking after receiving a message about the incident, and someone began to speculate about the future potential victims of Tel Aviv.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
