Izvestia Medical Center will talk about the diagnosis and therapy of chronic kidney disease in diabetes

On March 23, at 10:00 a.m., a round table "Nephrodiabetes: a new reality and algorithms of action" will be held in the press center of the Izvestia News Center, organized by the NEFRO-LEAGUE NGO.

They will talk about modern approaches to the diagnosis and therapy of chronic kidney disease in type 2 diabetes mellitus, as well as ways to improve the quality of life of patients.:

-Alexey Zilov, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Health at the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Scientific Director of the Department of Endocrinology at Ilyinsky Hospital;

-Oksana Naumenko, nephrologist, Office of Extracorporeal methods of treatment of renal pathology, National Research Medical Center of Endocrinology. Academician I.I. Dedov of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

The moderator is Galina Goretskaya, Chairman of the Board of the NP NEFRO-LEAGUE.

The event will present the results of a survey of patients with chronic kidney disease in type 2 diabetes mellitus, as well as discuss key issues of managing such patients, including low awareness, irregular diagnosis and high financial burden of treatment.
