Investor Alexander Galitsky did not agree with the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation to recognize his extremist activities in Russia. This was announced on March 19 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the hall of the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow.

"All the materials presented by the prosecutor are incorrect and do not correspond to the truth. I do not manage the [Almaz Capital Partners] fund I have no shares in the fund since 2022. The last company from Ukraine or with Ukrainian natives was invested in 2021 by a third fund, to which I have nothing to do," he said in court.

According to him, the fund, which is claimed by the prosecutor's office, invested $90 million in Russian companies.

On March 11, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation demanded that Galitsky and his Almaz Capital Partners corporation be banned as extremist activities in the Russian Federation. The SOE also demanded that all funds in the investor's bank accounts and real estate objects registered with him be converted into state income.

In October 2025, Galitsky's property worth 435 million rubles was seized. Among them were several real estate objects, including an apartment on Patriarch's Ponds, a cottage in the village of Millennium Park on Novorizhskoye Highway, an apartment in the Turgenev clubhouse, as well as three parking spaces.
