A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The southern group of troops liberated the village of Fedorovka II in the DPR. As a result of the actions of Russian servicemen, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost more than 185 militants, seven armored combat vehicles, 11 vehicles, a field artillery piece, an electronic warfare station, four ammunition and materiel depots.

In addition, the Center group of troops took control of the settlement of Pavlovka in the DPR and defeated the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces in the areas of the settlements of Shevchenko, Belitskoye, Novoaleksandrovka, Dobropole, Kucherov Yar, Kutuzovka, Toretskoye, Grishino and Novonikolaevka of the DPR, Novopodgorodnoye and Novopavlovka of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

"The units of the Vostok group of forces have advanced into the depth of the enemy's defenses. They defeated formations of the mechanized, amphibious assault, assault brigades and two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of <...> Of the Zaporizhia region and <...> of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The enemy lost up to 285 soldiers," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Russian army, with the help of aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery, has defeated Ukrainian energy and transport infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, training and launching sites for long-range drones, temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 148 districts.

In turn, air defense systems shot down six guided aerial bombs and 356 aircraft-type drones.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special operation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 125,087 UAVs, 652 anti-aircraft missile systems, 28,345 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,690 multiple rocket launchers, 33,932 field artillery guns and mortars, 57,192 pieces of special vehicles.
