Large fires engulfed several QatarEnergy facilities after rocket fire

Missile strikes on the territory of the industrial city of Ras Laffan, located in Qatar, led to severe fires at liquefied natural gas (LNG) production facilities owned by QatarEnergy. This was announced on March 19 in the press service of the organization.

"QatarEnergy confirms that on the morning of Thursday, March 19, 2026, several LNG production facilities were attacked by missiles, which led to major fires and further damage," a statement on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
