The technical pause in the trilateral negotiations on Ukraine is caused by the situation around Iran. This was announced on March 19 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"This is a situational pause for obvious reasons. Therefore, as soon as possible, as soon as the schedules of all three parties are agreed upon, first of all, the schedules of our American intermediaries. When they will be able to pay more attention to Ukrainian affairs," he said.
Peskov added that the pause is of a technical nature and Moscow hopes for the resumption of the negotiation process.

He noted that of the three working groups, only Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of Russia for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, is currently active.
