Russian companies have become more likely to use e-mail amid the unstable operation of Telegram and problems with mobile communications in Moscow. This was reported on March 19 by the Vedomosti News Agency, with reference to data from Russian b2b companies.

"In two weeks, from March 1 to March 14, 2026, the total number of emails sent due to the unstable operation of the Telegram messenger and problems with mobile communications in the capital increased by 36% year—on—year to 625.3 million," the publication says.

It is noted that employees of retail, IT and e-commerce began to communicate more actively by e-mail. In the current conditions, this method of communication is perceived as more reliable. At the same time, the popularity of Russian corporate platforms such as Express, Tutka and VK WorkSpace, which are alternatives to foreign services, is growing.
