Yandex talked about the specifics of working with limited communication

Users can find the necessary information in the search with Alice in conditions of limited mobile Internet, Yandex said.

"Alice's search continues to work and allows you to quickly get answers to everyday questions — for example, to find out the address of an organization, phone number, opening hours of an institution or the weather," the company noted.

Yandex Search has entered the "white list" of resources. Users can use it to navigate to the sites included in this list, or receive information through Alice AI's short answers.

"For example, if you are in the center of a city with limited connectivity, you can ask a query, for example: "how to get to the Tretyakov Gallery faster," and thanks to the quick answers in the search, the information will still be displayed correctly," Yandex clarified.

With communication limitations, other features of Alice AI remain available: the neural network can be asked to explain a complex topic, edit text, or generate a picture based on the description. The search also retains access to familiar content and services: users can watch videos and images, compare prices for goods and services, and get background information about organizations.
