Students will be able to receive 200 thousand rubles at the birth of a child.

The list of possible support measures to improve demographics in the regions has been expanded with the payment of 200 thousand rubles at the birth of a child to students. This was announced on March 19 by Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government for Social Policy.

"Starting in 2026, possible areas of support will be supplemented with another measure — a one—time payment of at least 200 thousand rubles for the birth of a child in a student family," TASS quoted Golikova as saying.
