The necessary veterinary measures against dangerous animal diseases are being carried out in the Novosibirsk region. This was announced on March 19 by Governor Andrey Travnikov.

"Strict but absolutely necessary veterinary measures are being taken in the Novosibirsk Region to prevent the spread of the disease and cause great damage to the livestock industry in our region," RIA Novosti quoted Travnikov as saying.
