The Russian Ministry of Health has approved guidelines for the medical examination of men and women of reproductive age, aimed at assessing reproductive health. The document dated March 13 notes the need to inform women about the most favorable age for pregnancy and childbirth — from 18 to 35 years.

"Women who have not been diagnosed with chronic gynecological diseases, and there are no risk factors for their development, should be given recommendations on leading a healthy lifestyle and family planning. It is necessary to inform women that the optimal time for pregnancy and childbirth is the age of a woman from 18 to 35 years old," the agency's website says.

It is noted that an important condition is a balanced human diet with a sufficient content of proteins, vitamins and trace elements. Of particular importance in preparing for pregnancy are substances such as folic acid, iron, iodine, magnesium, as well as vitamins B6, B12, D3 and E.

The recommendations emphasize the importance of an active lifestyle and adherence to sleep patterns. The influence of bad habits is also indicated: smoking increases the risk of infertility, regular alcohol consumption in significant doses increases the likelihood of problems with conception, and excessive caffeine consumption reduces the chances of pregnancy.

In addition, special attention is paid to the need for regular medical examinations and medical examinations.
