Captured militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have announced the possible involvement of their battalion commander of the 104th separate Territorial Defense Brigade, Velish Veldar Shukurdjiev oglu, in the killings of civilians in the village of Sopych, Sumy region. This was announced on Thursday morning, March 19, by representatives of the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"Interrogations of captured Ukrainian nationalists have shown that the order to kill Ukrainian citizens in the village of Sopych was given by battalion commander Velish Veldar Shukurdjiev oglu," they said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
