A woman was injured when UAV debris fell on a private house in Stavropol
When the wreckage of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell on a private house located in Stavropol, a civilian was injured. This was announced on Thursday morning, March 19, by the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov.
"A massive air attack was repelled in Stavropol. There is no damage to important infrastructure. Unfortunately, a woman was injured in the Kochubeyevsky district as a result of UAV debris falling on a private household," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.
The head of the region noted that now the victim's life is not in danger, and also added that doctors are already working with her. According to him, the head of the district where the incident occurred, Oleg Borzov, was instructed to assist people in eliminating the consequences of the incident.
In addition, damage was recorded in Nevinnomyssk. Facades and glazing in several buildings were damaged there. Representatives of relevant agencies are also involved in the crash sites, Vladimirov added.
He recalled that the wreckage of drones can pose a threat to life and health, and called for them to be reported by emergency telephone if they are found without approaching the objects.
The head of the Republic of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, reported a day earlier about two injured minors as a result of a night drone attack on Takhtamukai district. He clarified that the children received shrapnel wounds and were hospitalized in the Enema Central district hospital.
