In Moscow, a court sentenced him to five years in a general regime penal colony for fraud in the supply of burners for military personnel stationed in the area of a special military operation. This became known on March 19 from the case file.

As part of the transaction, the entrepreneur received an amount of more than 53.7 million rubles in advance from the customer company. After that, the person involved in the case began to create the appearance of working on supplies, and also claimed to have problems with supplies, TASS reports.

As a result, only about 30% of the cost of the batch of burners was sent to the manufacturer. The businessman spent the rest of the money at his discretion. As a result, the execution of the contract for the supply of equipment to the Armed Forces of Russia was actually disrupted.
