Some catering establishments in Thailand refuse to serve Israeli citizens due to the escalating conflict in the Middle East. This was reported on March 19 by Thai international commentator and politician Nitiphumthanath Ming-Ruchiralai.

"This has created a wave of hostility towards Israeli tourists. There is no such attitude towards the Americans, despite the fact that the United States is attacking Iran together with Israel," the expert said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to Ming-Ruchiralai, anti-Semitism has never existed in Thailand, but there have been many representatives of anti-Zionism and a negative attitude towards Israeli politics. Despite this, the attitude towards the State itself and the citizens of Israel remains positive.

The expert also added that you should not believe all the content about the behavior of Israelis in Thailand from the Internet.

"Of course, everything should be divided by five, as they say in Russia. Social networks are social networks, and they contain a lot of garbage. The number of views of such messages is alarming," he notes.

On November 24, The Times of Israel newspaper reported the death of an Israeli tourist who was trying to save his son. It is specified that during the rest, a strong current swept his son into the sea. The man rushed to help, caught the child and handed him over to another tourist, who hurried to help. Then the father shouted to his wife that he would swim to the nearest rocks to get on land, but after that he immediately drowned.
