The fire started in the area of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) production complex in Qatar's Ras Laffan as a result of an Iranian strike. This was announced on March 18 by Qatar's oil and gas company QatarEnergy.

"QatarEnergy confirms that an industrial site in Ras Laffan was hit by rocket fire this evening," the publication says.
