Moldova has imposed personal sanctions against four Russian journalists
Moldovan authorities have imposed personal sanctions against four Russian journalists — Dmitry Guberniev, Ekaterina Andreeva, Maria Sittel and Pavel Zarubin. This became known on March 18 from an order published in the Official Gazette of the republic.
It is also reported that two artists are under restrictions.: Sergey Polunin and Roman Chumakov.
The same people were added to the sanctions list by the European Union (EU) in January 2026.
On March 14, the ambassadors of 27 EU countries agreed to extend personal sanctions against more than 2.6 thousand Russian individuals and legal entities. The restrictive measures have been extended for another six months, despite attempts by a number of countries to exclude individual businessmen.
