In 2025, the Shelepikhinsky Duker gas pipeline with a length of more than 170 m was built in Moscow. This was announced on Wednesday, March 18, by the press service of the municipal economy complex.

It is noted that he improved the reliability of gas supply in six districts at once: Khoroshevo-Mnevniki, Shchukino, Khoroshevsky, Presnensky, Dorogomilovo and Ramenki.

It is noted that the structure runs under the channel of the Moskva River and connects Bolshaya Filevskaya Street with Shelepikhinskaya embankment. For its construction, starting and receiving pits with a depth of over 20 m were created, while the section of open laying was 16 m, writes "Moscow 24".

The main part of the route was paved by microtunneling using tunneling systems and laser navigation. After that, a high-pressure steel pipe was placed in a protective case. The ministry stressed that such technology does not have a negative impact on the ecosystem of the river and the urban environment.

It is also reported that the construction used domestic materials that meet modern safety standards. The service life of the gas pipeline exceeds 40 years and does not require annual maintenance, and its operation is monitored around the clock by specialists from the central control room of Mosgaz JSC, the Moscow City News agency reports.
