The documentary project "The Iranian Impasse: What's next?" will air on REN TV on March 21

The joint military operation of the United States and Israel against Iran, as the American senators themselves admit, is getting out of control. Donald Trump refuses to discuss the possibility of a truce with Tehran and has taken the unprecedented step of postponing a planned visit to China. Such actions indicate that Washington has driven itself into a strategic impasse. The situation is complicated by the hardline position of the Islamic Republic: the ceasefire conditions put forward by Tehran are essentially equivalent to a demand for surrender for the American side. The main question is whether President Trump has a so–called "plan B." NATO allies refuse to provide military support to Washington, which not only threatens the alliance with a serious crisis, but also calls into question its continued viability.

In an interview with REN TV, the former head of the Israeli intelligence agency Native, Yakov Kedmi, expressed the opinion that the current events in the Persian Gulf are only a prelude to a full-scale American-Israeli operation. He is sure that Washington is betting on sabotage and subversive activities and will try to shake Iran from the inside by any means.

The film's authors will show how the escalation of the conflict affects the daily lives of ordinary Israelis, who are already accustomed to living in a siren-to-siren mode. The first thing that the reporter and the operator of the channel had to learn in Tel Aviv was the route to the underground bunker. In turn, an Iranian reporter filmed exclusive footage for REN TV from the capital of the Islamic Republic – immediately after the missile attack on the main office of Gosteleradio in Tehran.
