According to residents of Pskov, they received calls from strangers who introduced themselves as employees of banks and other organizations. The interlocutors convinced the victims that they needed to transfer their savings to a "secure" account. The Pskov news feed writes about this.

In Moscow, an 83-year-old pensioner gave fraudsters more than 10.4 million rubles. The scammers convinced the man that there had allegedly been a data leak at his last place of work.
