The court terminated the proceedings on the claim against Kirkorov for debt collection

The Tagansky Court of Moscow has terminated proceedings on the claim of Socium Trade JSC against singer Philip Kirkorov for debt collection under a loan agreement and a loan agreement in the amount of 12 million rubles. This was announced on March 18 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

"A statement of claim was received from the plaintiff's representative against Philip Bedrosovich Kirkorov for debt collection under the loan agreement and the refund of the state duty in the amount of 70% (150 thousand rubles)," the judge read out.

Prior to this, Kirkorov's lawyer Roman Kuzmin stressed that the contractor had indeed received a loan from the ICB bank.

"Subsequently, the bank explained to him that until the first loan is repaid, a new loan cannot be issued. The position is clear, after which the bank, namely the bank, proposed the following: let's assign the rights of the bank under the loan agreement in favor of their company, their company is the plaintiff, Socium Trade," the lawyer said.

He clarified that the statement that the singer allegedly does not pay on loans is incorrect. According to Kuzmin, Kirkorov transferred almost 97% of all funds to the bank and a small amount remained — 12 million rubles.

"Philip Bedrosovich could have repaid this amount three years ago. Question: why didn't he do it? I will explain: he agreed with the former management of the bank that, in payment of these funds, he would speak at the bank's New Year's Eve corporate party in 2022," the lawyer added, specifying that the contractor kept his promise.

In his opinion, the bank "swore" that the issue was resolved and the debt was repaid, and for three years "no one tried to talk to us." Then the management of the financial institution changed.

On December 18, 2025, the Tagansky Court of Moscow began considering a civil lawsuit against Kirkorov for the recovery of 12 million rubles. The lawsuit was filed by Socium Trade, which received the right to claim a loan issued by the artist from a Moscow Credit Bank in 2020.
