Energodar is completely de-energized after an artillery strike
The satellite city of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, Energodar, is completely de-energized, presumably as a result of an artillery strike. This was announced on March 18 by the mayor Maxim Pukhov.
"The shelling of the urban area is underway. Presumably, as a result of the artillery strike, the Power supply was completely de-energized. The energy services will begin restoration work after the situation normalizes," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The mayor also warned residents about high drone activity in the area of the embankment, city park and Pridneprovskaya Street.
He urged caution: do not stay in the open, stay indoors if possible, use walking routes with caution when moving, and in case of detection of drones, immediately call 102.
Maxim Pukhov reported on the shelling of Energodar on March 13. According to him, Pridneprovskaya Street, the Embankment and the Stela area were under fire.
On February 27, Pukhov reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had attacked the Palace of Culture in Energodar under conditions of silence. No one was injured in the incident, but the explosion damaged the building's glazing, facade, and cars parked nearby.
