The European Union (EU) needs to create a new security system, but with the assistance of Russia. This was announced on March 18 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

"Why don't we create a new European security system with Russia's participation," he said in an interview with GBN TV channel.

Orban noted that Russia should not be forced out of the EU's security, trade and energy system.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on March 17 that the European Union could return oil supplies from Russia, but was moving in the opposite direction. According to him, due to the political decisions of the EU, the countries of the union were cut off from two major sources of oil.
