The stepson of musician Namin pleaded guilty in court in the case of double murder
The stepson of rock musician Stas Namin (real name - Anastas Mikoyan) Roman Tkachenko, accused of the double murder of his stepbrother and grandmother, pleaded guilty in court. This was announced on March 18 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the Moscow Regional Court.
Tkachenko's defense said on March 13 that the man may suffer from a split personality and asked for a second examination. According to the lawyer, the man allegedly has been communicating with his "second self" for many years and has experienced at least ten concussions, but the court rejected the defense's request.
In December 2025, it was noted that Tkachenko's arrest was extended in the case of the murder of his grandmother and brother until April 1 of this year. At the same time, Tkachenko's defense insisted on a milder measure of restraint, unrelated to detention, due to the psychological state of the defendant.
The bodies of Namin's mother-in-law and his 30-year-old son Artyom with multiple stab wounds were found on the night of October 19, 2023 in their home in Kryukovo. It was noted that a dispute arose between the relatives over the sale of the house. During the conflict, the grandson killed his grandmother, after which he called his 30-year-old brother, confessed to what he had done, and when he arrived at the scene, the man killed him. Then the criminal called the police and reported what he had done. The suspect was promptly detained.
