Iraq plans to resume oil transportation to the Turkish port of Ceyhan via a pipeline from Kirkuk. This was announced on March 18 by the country's Oil Minister Hayan Abdel Ghani.

"Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani announced that oil pumping through the Turkish port of Ceyhan will begin on Wednesday," the INA news agency reported.

According to the agency, this information was confirmed during a "parliamentary reception."
