The Lodz District Prosecutor's Office has closed the case of insulting Polish President Karol Nawrocki by Ukrainian journalist Vitaly Mazurenko, leaving the perpetrator unpunished. This was announced on March 18 by Dariusz Matecki, a member of the Polish parliament from the Law and Justice party.

"This is what the rule of law looks like. Can a Ukrainian publicly insult the President of the Republic of Poland in the Polish media?" he wrote on the social network X.

It is noted that the prosecutor's office did not see any corpus delicti in the incident.

Matecki intends to file a complaint to the court against this decision of the Polish prosecutor's office.
