The operators of the UAV group of forces "North" destroyed the artillery installation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The operators of the troops of the unmanned systems (UAVs) of the North group of forces destroyed a self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Sumy direction. This was announced on March 18 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that during the performance of combat missions, a concealed Bogdan self-propelled gun of Ukrainian militants was discovered, designed to fire at Russian troops.

The installation was damaged by a high-precision blow from the FPV drone. The operators of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) recorded an attempt by the crew to leave the car and begin repairs. With a repeated strike by Russian soldiers, the artillery system, along with the crew, were eliminated.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the destruction of the Bogdan self-propelled guns deprived the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the opportunity to inflict fire damage on Russian units and disrupted its artillery support in this sector of the front.

The day before, it was reported that the gunners of the North group of forces are actively working to destroy Ukrainian drones and sabotage groups in the Sumy direction. The gunners are firing from closed positions, constantly changing them to prevent the enemy from identifying the location. Interaction with intelligence and the command post helps to quickly transmit information through encrypted communication channels, which increases the accuracy of strikes.
